A weathered city-centre roof above trading shops, overlaid quickly with FLEXITEC and finished with RESTRIMS profiles, with no disruption to the businesses below.
The challenge
This old, weathered city-centre roof urgently needed refurbishment and a permanent waterproof finish. With shops trading directly underneath, the work had to be quick and straightforward to keep disruption to a minimum.
The solution
The contractor applied the FLEXITEC system across the whole roof over OSB decking. Roof edges, the parapet, wall abutments and the walls of the extension were all finished with RESTRIMS cladding profiles.
The result
Thanks to how quickly FLEXITEC goes down, the flat roof was waterproofed efficiently and backed by a 20-year guarantee, without disturbing the rest of the building.
