Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to what contractors and merchants ask us most about liquid roofing, training and buying RESTEC.
A cold-applied waterproofing system rolled onto the roof as a liquid, curing into one seamless, fully reinforced membrane. There are no joints or laps to fail, and no hot works on site.
In many cases, yes. The range is designed to overlay many existing roof surfaces as well as install onto new decks, which avoids a full strip-out on most refurbishments. Your surface should always be checked first. Talk to the technical team.
Cure time is 30-60 minutes. A roof can be made watertight in a day rather than left open between visits.
Yes. The systems are formulated for all-year-round application, so work is not held up waiting for a season.
RESTEC systems are installed by trained contractors. Training runs through RESTEC Training. Book a training day and we will get you on a course.
Through our stockist network. Tell us your area and we will point you to your nearest official stockist.
A 20-year guarantee is available, accessible to trained contractors. The technical team can confirm what applies to your build-up.
